Job Description:

KPI Partners is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Business Analyst with strong financial domain expertise and hands-on SQL skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of interacting directly with business stakeholders, understanding functional requirements, and translating business needs into actionable solutions for Data Engineering and technical teams.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management, and deep understanding of financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand functional and business requirements

- Analyze business processes, workflows, and financial systems to identify improvement opportunities

- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for Data Engineering and technical teams

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business solutions

- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL

- Support requirement gathering, documentation, and business process mapping activities

- Drive discussions with stakeholders to clarify business objectives and technical feasibility

- Ensure alignment between business expectations and project deliverables

- Participate in solution design, testing, and implementation support

Required Skills & Experience:

- 8+ years of overall experience in Business Analysis roles

- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Business Analysis and stakeholder management

- 3+ years of work experience in Financial Management / Financial Domain

- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and reporting

- Strong understanding of financial processes, business workflows, and enterprise systems

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work closely with both business and technical teams

- Experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and process analysis

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Strong financial domain expertise is mandatory

- Ability to independently interact with business leaders and stakeholders

- Experience working with Data Engineering or analytics teams preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
