About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Modeler Supply Chain to design and maintain scalable data models that support supply chain applications, analytics, and enterprise data initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and supply chain processes, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust and efficient data structures.

This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects, and analytics teams to ensure high-quality, consistent, and reliable data assets across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Modeling & Architecture:

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise supply chain systems.

- Create scalable data structures that support operational, analytical, and reporting requirements.

- Define relationships, hierarchies, metadata, and data standards across supply chain domains.

- Ensure data models align with enterprise architecture and business objectives.

Business & Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with business users, supply chain teams, data architects, and engineers to gather and analyze requirements.

- Translate business processes and supply chain workflows into effective data models.

- Participate in solution design discussions and provide recommendations on data architecture.

Data Quality & Governance:

- Ensure consistency, integrity, and quality of enterprise data assets.

- Support data governance initiatives, master data management, and metadata management programs.

- Establish and maintain data modeling standards, best practices, and documentation.

Performance Optimization:

- Analyze and optimize existing data models and database structures.

- Improve query performance, scalability, and maintainability of data solutions.

- Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting Support:

- Enable data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives through effective data design.

- Work with reporting and analytics teams to ensure data availability and usability.

- Support enterprise reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of experience working with SQL.

- 3+ years of experience in Data Modeling.

- 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Supply Chain Data Domains.

Strong expertise in:

- Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling

- SQL and Relational Databases

- Data Architecture Principles

- Data Quality and Governance

- Data Integration and Migration

- Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, Lucidchart, or similar.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Supply Chain domains such as:

- Procurement

- Inventory Management

- Logistics & Transportation

- Demand Planning

- Warehouse Management

- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools.

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
