Role Overview
A high-impact, high-visibility strategy role within the Consumer Bank's FP&A function, serving as an internal consultant to senior leadership. The incumbent will transform financial and operational intelligence into outcome-driven action - shaping resource allocation, driving fiscal discipline, and unlocking productivity across the franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Analysis - Mine complex financial and business datasets to surface trends, inefficiencies, and performance gaps across the Consumer Bank.
- Ground-Level Intelligence - Engage directly with frontline sales teams, business units, and customers to capture on-the-ground realities and translate them into strategic inputs for leadership. Bridge boardroom strategy with field-level execution.
- Actionable Recommendations - Develop insight-driven recommendations on efficiency, cost optimisation, and return on resources.
- Decision Frameworks - Build structured problem statements and analytics models that enable leadership to evaluate trade-offs and prioritise with clarity.
- Cross-Functional Projects - Lead high-impact workstreams spanning budgeting, network strategy, cost transformation, and performance management.
- Executive Communication - Craft board-ready presentations and management narratives that distil complex analyses into compelling storylines.

Experience & Qualifications
- Prior experience in strategy, consulting, FP&A, or business analytics - preferably in financial services.
- Track record on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with senior leadership exposure.
- Experience engaging with frontline or customer-facing teams to derive business insights will be highly valued.
- Strong academic background in finance, economics, engineering, or management.
- Experience in retail distribution or network strategy is a distinct advantage.
- Maximum experience of 10 years
