Kotak Mahindra Bank - Senior Role - Loan Syndication - Offshore

Responsible for syndication, placement, and distribution of India-linked ECB and foreign currency term loans to Indian banks, foreign banks, and IFSC branches.

The role focuses on lender coverage, deal marketing, and placement execution, ensuring successful participation across the lender base.

Key Deliverables:

1. Loan Distribution & Placement

- Manage end-to-end syndication and placement of foreign currency and ECB to foreign bank branches, DFIs, and GIFT IFSC branches.

- Coordinate with internal origination teams and external lenders for deal updates, pricing, and closure.

2. Lender Coverage & Relationship Management

- Maintain and expand a strong network of lender relationships (Indian banks offshore branches, gift city branches and foreign bank gift city branches, offshore branches).

- Track each lender's sectoral appetite, pricing benchmarks, and credit approval processes.

- Regularly engage with lenders to understand pipeline opportunities and funding preferences in terms of tenor, pricing, currency, fixed/floating etc

3. Deal Marketing & Execution Support

- Prepare IM, lender teasers, and deal summaries for circulation.

4. Market Intelligence

- Track loan market activity, pricing, and investor behaviour in ECB markets.

- Provide inputs to origination teams on market appetite and optimal syndication strategies.
