Kotak Mahindra Bank - Relationship Manager - Domestic Custody

Description:

- We are looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join us in the BFIG Team who will be managing the following key responsibilities.

- Originate new business from Indian and international private equity and real estate to drive strong fee income (FX, Custody, Escrow, CMS), maintain sustainable high current account balance, and support in sourcing PF- related financing opportunities.

- Acquire new offshore custody domestic clients from pan India.

- Drive business development for custody and clearing services targeted at Funds, FPIs, and Hedge Funds.

- Build and manage strong relationships with global clients, consultants, intermediaries, and market participants.

- Lead sales pitches, product discussions, commercial negotiations, and onboarding processes.

- Maintain strong understanding of capital markets, settlements, clearing, custody operations, and regulatory frameworks.

- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Compliance, Legal, Product, etc.) to ensure seamless client servicing.

- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting foreign funds and custody operations

Skills & Criteria:

- MBA in finance/ CA candidates will be preferred

- Overall work experience in banking and financial services of around 5 years

- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

- Good understanding of capital markets, Regulatory frameworks, Settlement cycles, clearing mechanism and custody operations.

- Well established network and working relationships with clients, market participants, regulators and industry consultants.
