Kotak Mahindra Bank - Credit Manager - Wholesale Banking Vertical - Infrastructure Sector

- Handling a team of credit analysts for project finance transaction/Infrastructure proposal mainly in Power and Road sector

- Liasioning with other teams such as product team/ Structured Finance/Relationship team for risk assessments/ structuring of the proposal, transaction

- Prioritization of proposals in consultation with business team

- Guide the team of credit analysts to write better quality notes and effective monitoring

- Vetting of Credit Appraisal notes prepared by credit analysts

- Assist the credit analysts to formulate credit recommendation in the note.

- Closely monitoring of existing portfolio mainly compromised of Renewable Energy Sector, Road Sector, Thermal, Transmission etc.

- Identify the emerging risk in assigned portfolio and closely monitor red flags/ watch list account

- Escalate with action plan for non-compliances and early warning signals

- Meeting the clients on regular basis to know the updates

- Networking within various departments of the bank/ taking reference checks from other banks

Job Requirement :

- Experience required for the Job: At least 10+ years in Credit Underwriting of which at least 4-5 yrs in Infrastructure sector and 2-3 yrs of team handling experience.

- CA / MBA

- Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Balance Sheet Analysis, financial modelling, Sector specific requirements

- Knowledge of RBI regulations, SEBI and other statutory bodies requirements.

- Good interaction and communication ability.

- Excellent verbal, written communication & presentation skills.
