Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Analysis:

- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts. Ensure deep understanding and preparation of financials and detailed notes to accounts.

- Prepare robust variance analysis, financial ratios, and management information for review by the Audit Committee of the Board (ACB) and the Board of Directors.

- Contribute to Accounting controls and analysis.

- Comprehensive understanding of life insurance accounting, IRDAI financial regulations, IGAAP, IFRS reporting framework.

2. Regulatory Returns & Compliance Reporting:

- Prepare and review critical regulatory filings including F&A BAP returns, Website Public Disclosures, Listed Entity formats, FC Returns, Return of Subsidiaries, and MSME Form-1. Efficiently manage urgent and ad-hoc data requirements from the IRDAI, as well as taxation authorities (Direct Tax, GST, PT).

3. Strategic Projects, Competition Analysis & Process Automation:

- Drive strategic initiatives within the CFO function and collaborate on high-impact, cross-functional projects across multiple departments.

- Critically evaluate the financial statements, notes to accounts, and management reports of peer life insurance companies.

- Map out and benchmark key performance metrics, disclosure practices, and operational strategies against industry leaders.

- Manage the end-to-end compilation, editing, and presentation of the company's Annual Reports and strategic management disclosures.

- Implement modern automation tools and technologies within the financial reporting ecosystem to minimize manual effort, eradicate errors, and compress closing timelines.
