Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting professional to join our Corporate Office in Cochin. The role involves end-to-end accounting responsibilities with a strong focus on financial accuracy, compliance, and reporting within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in general accounting and statutory finalization, along with proficiency in Tally and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end general accounting functions, including journal entries and ledgers

- Handle Accounts Payable, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing

- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

- Assist in finalization of accounts, including month-end and year-end closures

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls

- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

- Coordinate with internal departments and auditors as required

- Support financial reporting and management reviews

Experience:

- 8-15 years of overall accounting experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (mandatory)

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong proficiency in General Accounting and Accounts Payable

- Hands-on experience in Bank Reconciliation and Account Finalization

- Proficient in Tally

- Exposure to ERP platforms

- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
