About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Business Controller to support financial planning, reporting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MIS reporting, audit processes, and SAP FICO, with the ability to drive financial insights and process improvements within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial summaries for business review.
- Perform sales reconciliation, variance analysis, and margin tracking.
- Manage inventory valuation, movement tracking, and obsolescence analysis.
- Support in internal, statutory, and group audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely closure of financial statements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
- Contribute to the preparation of management reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Handle warranty provisions, costing accuracy, and expense analysis.
- Utilize SAP FICO for transaction analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Support the implementation of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards related to finance and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial reporting.
Skillsets & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO and MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Proficiency in MIS reporting, cost accounting, and reconciliations.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and costing structure.
- Knowledge of auditing practices, internal controls, and compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards preferred.
Educational Qualification:
CMA / CA (Qualified or Semi-qualified) with relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial finance.
