Founders Office Strategy, AI & Special Projects

Location: Gurgaon

Role Type: Full-time

About the Role:

The Founders Office at Kollegeapply drives all high-impact, cross-functional, and 01 initiatives across product, strategy, data, and automation. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically, execute quickly, and build AI-driven internal tools or user-facing tools from scratch.

You will work directly with the Founder to conceptualize, design, and deploy intelligent systems, automation workflows, and product enhancements that shape Kollegeapplys future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy, Research & Insights:

- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and white spaces.

- Evaluate new product ideas and business strategies with data-backed insights.

- Prepare founder-ready strategic briefs, models, and execution plans.

2. Internal Product Development:

- Knowledge of building tools using AI is mandatory.

- You will be expected to:

- Build prototypes and PRDs using modern AI frameworks and collaborate with developers for full-scale implementation.

- Define logic, data requirements, edge cases, and expected outputs for the products/tools ideated

3. Product Strategy & Documentation:

- Convert ambiguous ideas into structured PRDs, workflows, and requirement documents.

- Define user journeys and help in enhancing the product features.

- Prioritize features based on user needs, business relevance, and feasibility.

4. Data, Automation & Intelligence Systems:

- Build data workflows and automations using tools like Python or custom scripts.

- Assist in dashboards and reporting systems to support decision-making.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.

5. Special Projects (0 1 Execution):

- Take full ownership of founder-driven initiatives end-to-end.

- Scope, plan, coordinate, and deliver high-priority projects across functions.

- Improve internal processes and build systems that drive operational excellence.

- These projects may involve product experiments, partnerships research, system redesigns, or new feature launches.

6. Cross-functional Leadership:

- Work closely with Tech, Product, Marketing, Data, and Operations teams.

- Drive alignment, clarity, and speed across stakeholders.

- Maintain project trackers, timelines, and documentation for leadership.

What Success Looks Like:

Within 36 months, you should be able to:

- Independently build AI-powered tools or prototypes with well-defined logic.

- Run end-to-end product and strategy projects with minimal supervision.

- Establish standardized processes for documentation, automation, and reporting.

- Improve internal efficiency using automation and AI-driven workflows.

- Become the founders go-to execution partner for strategic and product initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Have:

- Good understanding of AI concepts and the ability to leverage them to build simple, practical tools.

- Experience creating effective prompts, and using no-code/low-code automation platforms.

- Analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Comfortable working with data (Sheets/Excel, basic Python, dashboards, etc.).

- Able to write clear PRDs and communicate complex ideas in a simple, business-friendly way.

- High ownership mindset, proactive attitude, and comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Good to Have:

- Exposure to automation tools (n8n, Zapier, LangChain, etc.).

- Understanding of user behaviour in education or consumer internet products.

- Experience coordinating with engineering and design teams.

- Business/finance background for modelling and strategic evaluations.
