Job Title: Content Strategist.
Department: Content & Growth.

Experience: 2-5 Years in Education/EdTech Content Strategy (Preferred).
We are looking for a data-driven Content Strategist who can plan, execute, and optimize high-quality website content for students exploring colleges, courses, exams, admissions, scholarships, and study options across India.
The role requires a strong understanding of student decision journeys, SEO, and performance-driven content ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content strategy for key categories Exams, Colleges, Courses, Admissions, Careers.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience behavior study to grow organic reach.
- Create content calendars mapped to academic seasons, exam schedules, and admission cycles.
- Should be able to craft user-optimized content journeys.
- Ensure content is accurate, verified, and compliant based on official sources (NTA, UGC, AICTE, JoSAA, State Exam Boards, etc.
- Lead content performance tracking using GA4, GSC & related SEO tools; report insights regularly.
- Plan and execute content updates, interlinking strategies, and ranking improvements.
- Maintain strong editorial standards with consistent tone, structure, and factual correctness.
- Manage and guide writers/SMEs to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
- Contribute to lead generation and conversion-focused content improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Organic traffic growth (Page views, Unique Users).
- Keyword ranking improvements for competitive exam & college pages.
- Engagement metrics Time on page, Bounce rate, Click-through rate.
- Conversion metrics Leads, CTAs, student actions.
- Faster content update turnaround for exam/college content.
Skill Requirements:
- Strong command over education-based content and student guidance topics.
- Expertise in SEO tools: Ahrefs / SEMrush / GA4 / GSC.
- Ability to convert complex academic info into easy-to-understand content.
- Experience with A/B testing and content performance optimization.
- Excellent research, editing, and quality control skills.
- Knowledge of content structures for rankings: Exam pages, Course pages, College pages, Comparisons, cutoffs, counselling updates, etc.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work in EdTech or student guidance platforms (Example: Shiksha, Collegedunia, Careers360, Aglasem, etc.
- Experience working with CMS, structured content modules, and high-traffic websites.
- Familiarity with academic cycles and major exams: JEE, NEET, CUET, CAT, state entrance exams, etc.
