Job Purpose:
To lead and grow the LAP and MSME loan business in the assigned region by managing sales teams, expanding distribution channels, ensuring portfolio quality, and achieving disbursement and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth for LAP and MSME loans across the assigned region.
- Achieve disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets as per business plan.
- Develop and manage DSA, connector, broker, and channel partner network.
- Recruit, train, and lead Area Sales Managers, Branch Sales Managers, and Sales Officers.
- Monitor lead generation, login, sanction, and disbursement funnel.
- Ensure credit, legal, and operations coordination for smooth loan processing.
- Maintain portfolio quality, delinquency control, and risk parameters.
- Track competition, pricing, and market trends and suggest business strategies.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, KYC, AML, and regulatory norms.
- Conduct regular branch visits, reviews, and performance meetings.
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities in the region.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of LAP, MSME, and secured lending products
- Proven ability to build and manage large sales teams and channels
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of credit underwriting, risk, and documentation
- Result-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA in Sales/Marketing or Finance preferred
Experience
- 8-15 years of experience in NBFC/Banking sales
- Minimum 5 years in LAP / MSME lending
- At least 35 years in a regional or zonal leadership role
