Knowledge Foundry is a data science and data engineering services firm. Since 2008, we work with global clients in the retail, healthcare, telecom and financial services verticals. For our leading global pharmaceuticals client, we need a few data analysts. Responsibilities : - Gathering data from various data sources (RDBMS) and sites - Writing SQL queries, and MS Excel (or Python) to solve ad-hoc problems. Sample problems include : - Compute the potential market size for new product launch e.g., how many patients were recommended a weight loss drug in the last 12 months? - Run ad-hoc queries on the client's patient-level database and/or their physician database to answer business questions e.g., how many cardiologists in NY use our product? - Presenting the results in a visually intuitive dashboard/report (on Power BI) Education and Experience : - Bachelors degree in quantitative field from a reputed (Tier 1 or 2 college). - Advanced proficiency in SQL and MS Excel - Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using relevant data to inform decisions through data visualization tools such as PowerBI/ Tableau, etc - Excellent verbal and written skills (since work involves directly interacting with client US counterparts) - 2-4 years of related work experience
