Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Accounts & Finance to manage financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, support audits, and maintain accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of accounting standards, and hands-on experience in the NBFC/Banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations.

- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

- Maintain accurate records as per accounting standards and internal controls.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable Management:

- Oversee vendor payments, reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.

- Monitor receivables, follow up for outstanding dues, and ensure timely collections.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit Support:

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for smooth audit completion.

- Prepare audit schedules and address audit queries promptly.

4. NBFC Financial Operations (Preferred):

- Support treasury functions, fund management, and financial planning.

- Assist in preparation and submission of RBI-related reports and compliances.

- Ensure adherence to NBFC regulatory guidelines and financial norms.

5. Budgeting & MIS Reporting:

- Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

- Generate MIS reports for management review.

- Provide insights on financial performance and cost optimization.

6. Process Improvement & Internal Controls:

- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls.

- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency.

- Work cross-functionally with operations, credit, and senior management.

Required Skillsets:

1. Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

- Hands-on experience in NBFC/Banking financial operations (preferred).

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Tally/ERP systems, and financial software.

2. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:

- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.

3. Communication & Coordination Skills:

- Ability to collaborate with auditors, cross-functional teams, and management.

- Clear and concise communication for financial reporting and documentation.

4. Professional & Behavioral Competencies:

- High integrity and strong sense of responsibility.

- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.

- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
