About the role: To oversee and manage settlement and trade processing in the Equity segment, Mutual Funds, and Debt market operations, ensuring smooth and error-free execution of processes while driving operational excellence and process improvement.

Roles & Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities
Equity Trade Process & Settlement:

- Oversee and ensure accurate processing of trades for equity transactions.

- Manage exchange obligations to ensure error-free settlements within defined timelines.

- Coordinate with internal teams and exchanges for timely resolution of trade-related discrepancies.

Funds Obligation (Equity, Debt, Mutual Funds):

- Ensure timely and accurate fund transfers to exchanges, clearing corporations, and clients across all segments.

- Monitor fund availability and manage liquidity to meet operational obligations efficiently.

Transaction Processing:

- Manage end-to-end transaction processing for Mutual Funds, Debt, and Insurance products.

- Ensure all deals are settled on the exchange platform within strict regulatory timelines.

- Liaise with counterparties, registrars, and custodians to resolve settlement issues promptly.

Reconciliation:

- Identify and resolve reconciliation mismatches to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Implement robust controls to prevent errors and financial discrepancies.

Process Improvement:

- Identify areas for operational improvements and design strategies to reduce manual intervention.

- Drive process automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.

- Regularly review workflows to streamline operations and optimize resources.

Depository Operations:

- Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines for depository operations.

- Address and resolve operational challenges in the depository framework.

Your key qualifications & competencies:

- Postgraduate with a minimum of 15 years in operations, with expertise in Equity, Debt, and Mutual Fund settlement processes.

- Proven track record in delivering error-free operational processes.

- Proactive mindset for identifying and implementing process improvements and automation.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.

- Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to optimize trade and transaction workflows.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and manage teams effectively.
