Marketing Communications Manager

- She/he provides leadership to the marketing communications function of the enterprise "FYLS - Founding Years Learning Solutions (KLAY)". The individual is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of all copy and content across KLAY and its projects, ensuring a consistent brand voice, parent-centric messaging, and alignment with the organization's overall vision.

- The individual will have complete functional responsibility, which involves strategizing, planning, and implementing communication programs in line with business objectives and brand standards.

- Under broad direction (with macro supervision), she/he will provide specialized support for marketing, branding, and communication-related initiatives across multiple channels.

- Applies deep knowledge of marketing communication principles, digital content strategies, and brand management practices in the creation and delivery of impactful campaigns.

- Identifies and leads marketing communication policies, guidelines, and best practices in partnership with business, operations, and creative teams.

- Leads the creation of innovative campaigns, practices, and programs to strengthen KLAY's brand positioning and engagement with key stakeholders.

- Responsible for providing strategic direction and hands-on execution support on brand communication, digital marketing, PR, and internal communication.

- Considered the communication expert and brand custodian within KLAY.

Scope of Marketing Communication includes:

Brand & Content Leadership:


- End-to-end ownership of all content and communication across KLAY and related initiatives; ensuring messaging consistency and adherence to brand voice and guidelines; collaborating with internal teams and external partners for impactful delivery.

Website & Digital Presence:


- Proofreading, editing, and approving website and landing page content; creating homepage and landing page content for new programs, activities, and initiatives; maintaining accuracy, engagement, and compliance across digital assets.

Social Media & Ad Campaigns:


- Brainstorming, reviewing, and approving creatives and captions for social media platforms; developing campaign-specific copies, landing page content, and WhatsApp ads; leading communication for admissions, pan-India campaigns, and center-level activations.

Email, WhatsApp & Parent Communication:


- Drafting communication for pan-India and center-level events, and corporate engagements; creating newsletters, emailers, WhatsApp messages, and parent-facing communication templates; developing curriculum-related communication and Centre Director desk messages.

BTL & Branding Assets:


- Developing copy for center branding collaterals (hoardings, pole boards, bus branding, MyGate, RWA boards, etc.); supporting BTL activations with brand-compliant, error-free communication; creating brochures, orientation decks, handbooks, and presentations across departments.

Events & Activations:


- Managing communication for in-person and digital events, including invites, WhatsApp, emailers, and collaterals; supporting program-specific activations with relevant and timely messaging.

Public Relations & Thought Leadership:


- Leading PR strategy and execution across core and priority projects; collaborating with PR agencies for authored articles, press releases, and media outreach; driving thought leadership through award entries, speaker opportunities, and event representation.

Job Scope: PAN-India. The position reports to the Head of Marketing / CHRO.

Desired Education and Experience:

- Education: MBA / Postgraduate in Marketing, Communications, or Mass Media.

- Experience: 10-15 years of total experience in marketing communications, brand management, or content strategy. Prior experience in education, retail, or service industries preferred.

Minimum Requirements:

- Proven experience in managing brand communication across digital and offline channels.

- Strong understanding of integrated marketing communication strategies.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external agency partners.

- Skilled in campaign development, storytelling, and stakeholder management.
