As featured on Shark Tank India - Season 4, Episode 5, we are in a hyper-growth phase and need a strong, ethical, and diligent Finance Manager to drive financial planning, compliance, cost optimization, and fundraising strategy.

This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear path to becoming CFO.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

1- Financial Planning & Strategy:

- Develop a 12-month financial roadmap to scale revenue 10x across channels.

- Drive P&L ownership and optimize gross margins, cash flow, and working capital.

- Prepare financial models & fundraising strategies for investor readiness.

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.

- Work closely with founders & department heads to align financial strategies with business goals.

2- Accounting, Compliance & Controls:

- Ensure 100% financial compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, FSSAI regulations).

- Lead month-end & year-end closing with accurate P&L & balance sheet reporting.

- Implement robust internal financial controls to prevent fraud & leakages.

- Ensure timely audits, statutory filings, and financial reporting.

3- Omnichannel Finance Operations:

- Oversee inventory & cost management across Retail, D2C, and Quick Commerce.

- Optimize pricing strategies, SKU profitability & margin improvement.

- Implement revenue recognition models for multiple sales channels (D2C, Marketplaces, Retail, B2B).

- Ensure seamless financial operations across ERP, accounting software, and banking integrations.

4- Expert in Financial Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare & maintain:

- Monthly MIS Reports - Track P&L, balance sheets, and key financial metrics.

- Cash Flow Statements - Ensure liquidity & efficient cash management.

- Annual Operating Plan (AOP) - Develop yearly budgets & financial roadmaps.

- Financial Projections & Forecasts - Predict revenue, expenses & profitability for fundraising and strategic decision-making.

- Provide data-driven financial insights to founders & investors.

5- Investor Relations & Fundraising Support

- Prepare pitch decks, financial models, and investor reports.

- Assist in equity/debt fundraising by working with VCs, banks & financial institutions.

- Manage due diligence processes for investors & lenders.

6- Cost Optimization & Growth Finance

- Identify cost-saving opportunities in procurement, logistics, and operations.

- Implement financial discipline to support aggressive scaling plans.

- Improve credit terms & working capital cycles with suppliers & partners.

- Revenue Growth: 10x growth in D2C & Quick Commerce

- Gross Margin Optimization: Improve margins across all categories

- Cash Flow Management: Maintain a healthy cash conversion cycle

- Investor-Ready Financials: Ensure audit-ready books & investor compliance

- Cost Control & Efficiency: Optimize operating costs without compromising scale

- Timely & Accurate Financial Reporting: Monthly MIS, AOP, and cash flow reports

Who Should Apply?

Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-10 years of experience in an Omnichannel FMCG Startup.

Proven expertise in financial planning, fundraising, and compliance management.

Strong understanding of D2C, Retail, Quick Commerce, and Marketplace Finance.

Hands-on experience in creating & managing MIS reports, Cash Flows, AOP & Financial Projections.

Ability to analyze financial data & provide actionable insights.

Strong expertise in ERP systems, accounting tools, and financial modeling.
