We are seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst with deep expertise in financial modeling and lending risk analytics.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic insights by analyzing key profitability drivers, credit loss curves, and collections performance.
A strong background in retail lendingpreferably within a Bank, NBFC, or FinTech environmentis highly desirable.
What youll do:
- Work on IRR, NPV, RAROC models at cohort and borrower segment level.
- Analyze the impact of pricing, approval rate, CAC, collections cost, and credit loss on unit economics.
- Simulate outcomes under different business scenarios and sensitivities (e.g., resolution drop, bounce spike).
- Build and refine static pool/vintage models to estimate losses across DPD buckets.
- Use bounce data, resolution rate trends, and flow-through logic to predict future delinquency.
- Calibrate expected loss models and integrate with provisioning (ECL) or capital forecasting frameworks.
- Partner with credit and collections teams to iterate on back-tested outcomes.
- Track collections efficiency across buckets (Soft, Hard, Legal) and compute impact on NCL.
- Use bounce rate and recovery flow to model resolution probability curves.
- Design recovery scenarios to improve net yield post-default cost.
- Design dashboards in Power BI / Excel for risk and profitability KPIs.
- Create MIS and simulation tools for business, credit and strategy teams.
- Present to senior leadership actionable insights on loss trends, recovery ROI, and segment economics.
What we're looking for:
- Prior experience in banks, NBFCs, FinTechs, or lending-focused insurers.
- MBA (Finance / Analytics), CFA Level 1+ or CA.
- Financial Modeling: IRR, NPV, DCF, static pool, cohort analytics.
- Strong with Excel, SQL, Power BI; Python/SAS a plus.
- Ability to link bounce and resolution metrics to forecast credit losses.
- Experience in loan lifecycle economics, collection strategies, and early warning indicators.
- Exposure to portfolio monitoring, pricing strategy, or capital planning is a plus.
- Certifications in Credit Risk, Financial Modeling, or Data Analytics a plus.
