Role Overview:

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as the strategic financial architect for the firm, overseeing the entire spectrum of financial operations and corporate governance. You will work closely with the leadership team and partners to drive fiscal discipline, optimize capital allocation, and ensure long-term financial sustainability. This role is pivotal in shaping the firm's growth trajectory, managing complex financial risks, and ensuring that the organization remains compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks while maintaining high standards of financial reporting and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct the firms financial planning and analysis processes to provide actionable insights that support high-level decision-making and long-term corporate strategy.

- Oversee comprehensive budgeting and forecasting cycles to ensure optimal resource allocation across various service lines and departments.

- Manage corporate treasury functions, including liquidity management, cash flow optimization, and banking relationships to maintain a robust financial position.

- Lead complex financial modeling initiatives to evaluate potential M&A opportunities, business expansions, and investment projects.

- Ensure rigorous compliance with statutory financial reporting standards and tax regulations to mitigate institutional risk and maintain the firm's reputation.

- Implement sophisticated risk management frameworks to identify and address potential financial threats before they impact operational stability.

- Partner with the executive leadership team to translate financial data into strategic narratives that drive business performance and stakeholder value.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing corporate finance functions with 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in high-growth professional services or corporate environments.

- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and strategic planning, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, executive-level reports.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, taxation, and financial reporting standards relevant to the Indian market.

- Proven ability to navigate high-pressure environments, showing adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving in an on-site work setup in Pune.

- A professional qualification such as a Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant or CMA from a premier business school is highly preferred to ensure the necessary technical depth for the role.
