About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, delivery-focused Technical Project Manager to drive end-to-end execution of software projects across internal and customer-facing initiatives. You will work closely with engineering teams, senior PMs, and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Agile environments, enjoys solving execution challenges, and brings structure and clarity to fast-moving software teams. We value PMs who are operationally strong, proactive communicators, and comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce execution overhead.

What You'll Do

Software Project Delivery

- Own day-to-day execution of one or more software delivery projects with distributed teams across India and US time zones.

- Track project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones using standard project management practices and tools.

- Proactively identify blockers and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

- Provide structured and transparent project updates to internal stakeholders and customers.

- Partner with engineering, QA, product, and design teams to ensure smooth sprint execution and predictable delivery.

Agile Execution

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Help maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog in collaboration with product owners, engineering leads, and stakeholders.

- Ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are clear and ready before development begins.

- Support teams in following Agile best practices while continuously improving execution processes.

- Collaborate with senior PMs on estimation, planning, and delivery forecasting activities.

Requirements & Stakeholder Coordination

- Work with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify project requirements and delivery expectations.

- Collaborate with teams to refine user stories, workflows, and functional requirements for implementation.

- Maintain clear documentation for project decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items.

- Serve as a reliable day-to-day point of contact for project stakeholders and delivery teams.

- Communicate project progress, risks, and schedule changes proactively and clearly.

AI-Augmented Project Management

- Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion AI, or similar platforms to improve delivery efficiency and reduce repetitive operational work.

- Use AI tools to accelerate activities such as meeting summaries, action-item tracking, user story drafting, status reporting, and documentation.

- Apply strong judgment and critical thinking to validate and refine AI-generated outputs before sharing with stakeholders.

- Explore and share practical AI-driven productivity improvements with the broader PM and engineering teams.

Process & Delivery Excellence

- Contribute to project management best practices, delivery standards, and process improvements within the organization.

- Maintain project artifacts including plans, RAID logs, retrospective actions, and delivery documentation.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and project delivery workflows.

Skills & Experience

- 5-8 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in software project management, Agile delivery, or technical program coordination roles.

- Hands-on experience managing software delivery projects with cross-functional engineering teams.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycles.

- Experience with project planning, sprint tracking, dependency management, and delivery reporting.

- Ability to work effectively with engineering managers, technical leads, QA teams, and customer stakeholders.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, or similar collaboration platforms.

- Experience in software product engineering or IT services environments.

- Comfortable understanding technical dependencies, engineering workflows, and delivery tradeoffs.

(You are not expected to be a software engineer or write production code.)

- Practical exposure to AI productivity tools for documentation, communication, and project coordination workflows.

- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software projects while maintaining strong stakeholder confidence.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to estimation, scoping, or pre-sales support activities.

- Familiarity with engineering delivery metrics and reporting KPIs.

- Experience contributing to PMO or delivery process improvements.

- PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile/project management certifications.

- Experience creating reusable AI workflows, templates, or productivity practices for teams.
