Position Overview:

The City Head will oversee the end-to-end business operations in Hyderabad - driving sales, managing key relationships, and leading the city team toward consistent growth and profitability. This role requires a strategic leader with hands-on execution ability, deep market understanding, and strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead the city's P&L ownership - ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.

- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team across sales, operations, and support functions.

- Drive alignment between city operations and the company's strategic goals.

- Identify local market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to shape future strategy.

- Represent Khidki Homes at industry forums, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.

2. Sales & Business Growth:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to achieve monthly and annual targets.

- Strengthen relationships with key dealers, channel partners, architects, and contractors.

- Expand market reach through new client acquisition and channel development.

- Negotiate commercial terms, ensure timely deal closures, and optimize sales conversion ratios.

- Collaborate with marketing to plan city-specific campaigns and activations that drive lead generation.

- Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular insights to leadership.

3. Operational Excellence & Execution:

- Oversee daily operations - ensuring on-time order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and process compliance.

- Work closely with the finance, supply chain, and logistics teams to manage order cycles and collections.

- Implement effective inventory and demand planning practices to reduce delays and wastage.

- Review city-level dashboards and drive accountability through regular performance reviews.

- Ensure adherence to brand, quality, and service standards across all city operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable outcomes.

- Sales Expertise: Strong background in B2B sales, channel management, or building materials/interiors industry.

- Analytical Thinking: Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and guide strategy.

- Negotiation & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building.

- Operational Know-How: Understanding of supply chains, order fulfillment, and financial coordination.

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related fields.

- 3-6 years of experience, preferably in building business from scratch

- IIT/NIT/BITS preferred.

- Prior experience managing city or regional-level business operations is strongly preferred.
