The company operates across multiple states and has a well-established supply chain and distribution network.

Role Overview:

The Key Account Manager (Modern Trade) is responsible for managing and growing the company's business within designated modern trade accounts in Mumbai and Pune. This role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders at these accounts, negotiating trade terms, executing promotional plans, and ensuring optimal product availability and visibility. The KAM works closely with the sales team, marketing team, and supply chain to achieve sales targets and market share objectives, ultimately driving revenue growth and brand presence within the modern trade channel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute account-specific business plans to achieve sales targets and market share objectives within assigned modern trade accounts.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at modern trade accounts, including category managers, buyers, and store managers.

- Negotiate trade terms, promotional plans, and shelf space agreements with modern trade accounts to maximize product visibility and sales.

- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement within modern trade.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns and in-store activations to drive consumer demand.

- Ensure optimal product availability and visibility at modern trade stores by working closely with the supply chain and sales teams.

- Resolve customer issues and address concerns promptly and effectively to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow key accounts within the modern trade channel in the FMCG industry.

- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including category managers and buyers.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

- Ability to develop and execute effective sales and promotional plans.

- Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
