Key Accounts Manager - Modern Trade

We are currently looking to close a Key Account Manager - Modern Trade position with the topmost FMCG Conglomerate in India. The position is based in New Delhi.

Key Accountabilities

- Initiate discussion with New Chains & Key accounts for Lead Generation and Conversion

- Interact with existing Accounts along with KAMs for smooth functioning of business

- Responsible for percolating strategic decisions / thoughts to the branch MT Teams and driving the same

- Conduit between the Branch Teams & MT Head for smooth functioning and driving the MT Business

- Deliver monthly & annual targets of business & ensure best service delivery to customers (fill rate / LFR) OTIF (Lead Time) & share corrective action plans

- Establish Sales forecasting in alignment with ASM's & Category teams & drive delivery of sales targets channel

- Deliver State wise / City Wise Market share growth by driving effective implementation relevant initiatives

- Effective on ground implementation & timely Visibility execution & ensuring a check by publishing progress, tracking & sharing insights on corrective action plans across

- Travel to different markets for understanding the market dynamics / competition interventions and make plans accordingly

- Ensure Operational Efficiency by implementing robust processes to track Manpower efficiency (Adherence, Span of control, monthly meetings, review frequency with team)

- Work & collaborate with ASMs on any issues for quick resolution from Category Team

- Ensuring Regional Account wiring & relationship building with regional Teams & regional category Managers by meeting them @ regular frequency

- Leading technology adaptation & implementation for having better control over processes for monitoring in store Activations, Merchandising, Sell out plans with the accounts at point of sale.

- Provide timely accurate Trade information, Competitors Activities & Market Intelligence

- Manage hygiene for Modern trade Stockiest (Accounts receivables, account payables, Debt Collections, Credit Limit etc.)

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Traits (essential):

1. MBA in Marketing/Sales.

2. 7 years+ of experience in Modern Trade and Key Account management, preferably in Tobacco/FMCG industry.

Essential knowledge, skills and traits

1. Ability to motivate, influence & drive teams and collaborate with key stakeholders (Internal & External)

2. Ability to analyze and strategize

3. Should be able to recruit sales team

4. Should have good market knowledge and be able to track competitor's activities & do market census

5. Should be open to Technological changes in S & D Infrastructure

6. Should be able to Manage key accounts nationally

Location: New Delhi

Salary: Rs.18.0 LPA
