A leading brand in the lighting industry is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive sales growth, manage key national and regional accounts, and strengthen its presence across modern trade and institutional channels.

Role Overview

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and nurturing high-value key accounts across multiple retail formatshypermarkets, brand stores, apparel outlets, banks, warehouses, and more.

This role requires a combination of strong B2B relationship management, institutional sales expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, onboard, and grow modern trade key accounts across multiple categories and regions.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.

- Ensure structured market coverage with a planned PJP, targeting 7+ productive meetings daily.

- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams for smooth order fulfillment and client servicing.

- Drive liquidation of slow-moving inventory and enhance product visibility across formats.

- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and placements to provide market insights to internal teams.

- Organize factory/site visits and assist in contractor onboarding for project installations.

- Achieve monthly sales targets and provide regular performance updates to leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 58 years of experience in Key Account Management / Modern Trade Sales.

- Prior exposure to lighting, electricals, or consumer durables preferred.

- Proven expertise in category mapping, institutional sales, and large-format client handling.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Self-motivated, street-smart, and highly proactive with strong market knowledge.
