Key Account Manager - International Business
Job Description:
Our Client is transforming India's consumer goods manufacturing landscape, by building asset-light, value-added manufacturing services for brands - starting with Toys & Babycare. With rapidly scaling exclusive manufacturing capacities, deep category understanding, and strong NPD and design capabilities, ourclient has become the manufacturer of choice for leading brands such as Hercules, Baybee, Lifelong, and private labels of Flipkart, FirstCry, and other global retailers. The company is now expanding its reach into international markets, building partnerships with global distributors, brands, and retailers.
International Business Development:
- Identify, qualify, and onboard international clients (brands, importers, distributors, and retailers) across key markets - North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
- Develop a strong understanding of global toy & babycare markets, category trends, and price/value positioning.
- Build a robust sales pipeline through trade fairs, digital channels, and distributor networks.
Account Management & Growth:
- Act as the single point of contact for all assigned international accounts - from inquiry to order fulfillment.
- Understand client product requirements and coordinate with NPD, design, and operations teams to deliver tailored product solutions.
- Drive SKU development discussions, negotiate pricing, and ensure smooth communication from sampling to shipment.
- Maintain accurate tracking of orders, delivery timelines, and financial metrics (POs, payments, margins).
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Design Lead and NPD teams to develop brand-specific product aesthetics and packaging.
- Collaborate with the Production and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely execution and delivery.
- Interface with Finance & Documentation teams for export compliance, invoicing, and LC/TT coordination.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Track global trends in toys, babycare, and lifestyle manufacturing.
- Map competitor activity, price benchmarks, and category demand in key markets.
- Provide feedback to product and design teams to align offerings with international demand patterns.
- Support leadership in identifying strategic alliances and trade fair participation.
Operations & Coordination:
- Liaise with export, finance, and logistics teams for order documentation, shipment planning, and payment follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, quality norms, and customer audit standards.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and account performance dashboards.
