Job Title: KAM Genset | Power Generator | DG Set Sales (Above 400 kVA Power Segment)

Location: Rajendra Place, Delhi


Experience: 10 to 15 years in Key Account Management


About the Role:


We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager with proven expertise in selling high-capacity gensets (above 500 kVA). The role demands deep client engagement, strategic account development, and strong coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey power solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage and grow strategic key accounts, focusing on high-value genset sales in the >400 kVA segment.

- Develop customized power solutions based on client needs and industry-specific challenges.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and influencers.

- Coordinate internally with dispatch, service, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery and post-sales support.

- Handle contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term service agreements.

- Identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities and new project pipelines.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive issue resolution and service excellence.

- Maintain accurate reporting and client data through CRM tools.


Key Skills & Competencies:


- Relationship Management: Ability to build trust-based, solution-focused client connections.

- Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of high-capacity genset market and project-based sales.

- Communication & Presentation: Clear articulation of value propositions and technical offerings.

- Problem Solving & Negotiation: Quick issue resolution and strong commercial negotiation abilities.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with technical and operations teams.

- CRM & Analytics: Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales data interpretation.

- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts efficiently.

- Proactive & Results-Driven: A strategic, growth-oriented mindset with a strong focus on execution.


Educational Qualification:


- Preferably from a technical background (Engineering/Diploma), MBA Preferred
