Role Overview:
As a Key Account Manager (KAM) for Amazon-US, you will be the primary point of contact and strategic partner for our business relationship with Amazon. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Amazon marketplace. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams including marketing, supply chain, and product development, as well as direct interaction with Amazon category managers and vendor managers. Your efforts will directly impact our brand visibility, market share, and overall revenue within the critical US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for Amazon-US, aligning with overall business objectives to maximize sales and profitability.
- Manage and optimize product listings on Amazon, ensuring accurate product information, compelling content, and effective search optimization to improve product visibility and conversion rates.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth, including new product launches, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies to increase market share.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with Amazon, including pricing, promotions, and marketing support, to enhance profitability and competitive positioning.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts, working closely with supply chain to optimize inventory flow.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with Amazon, ensuring timely and effective communication to maintain a strong and positive business relationship.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to develop and execute effective advertising campaigns on Amazon, driving traffic and sales for our products.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to management on progress against goals and identifying areas for improvement to drive continuous growth.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful account management strategies, driving sales growth and profitability within the Amazon marketplace.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of Amazon's vendor central platform, including product listing optimization, advertising, and inventory management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Adaptable to a dynamic, on-site work environment in Noida, requiring consistent presence and collaboration with local teams.
