Corporate Affairs and Public Policy - Assam (Key Account Manager)


Experience : 8+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development to Power Sector Utilities/ Discoms

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies that support the company's overall business objectives

- Create network and manage relationships with key customer accounts (across all levels) esp. in Discoms

- Works very closely with internal functions to develop and implement long-term solution-based/intervention-oriented plans/strategies for the successful operation/ execution/ roll-out of AMI projects

- Understanding regarding the functioning & operations of State Power Utilities/ Discoms & Regulators

- Oversee the development and execution of project execution plans and initiatives designed to increase brand awareness

- Develop strategies that maximize profitability and align with the company's overall value proposition

- Identify new business models, opportunities and markets for the organisation

- Capability to manage complex/ critical situations & provide innovative solutions in the interest of the business

- Organise and conduct technical (operation, process, etc.) and consumer awareness workshops for Discoms

- Create an industry/ecosystem-level network and gather regular environment intelligence critical and relevant to IntelliSmart business operations

Personal attributes:

- 8+ years of techno-commercial experience in an organization, with a track record of success in developing and executing growth strategies

- Experience developing and executing commercial strategies in a complex business environment

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

- Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the sales/ project management process and the ability to identify opportunities for growth and revenue generation.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making

- Knowledge of market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape
