About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow strategic relationships within the automotive industry.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive value chain, strong customer management skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through key client partnerships.
You will act as the primary point of contact for key automotive accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning internal resources to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and internal cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, supply chain, production, R&D)
- Understand client business needs, technical requirements, and product roadmaps to offer tailored solutions
- Develop and implement account plans, including revenue forecasting, growth strategies, and performance tracking
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and terms of business
- Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market intelligence to inform business strategy
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues, maintaining high levels of satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver business reviews, performance reports, and executive presentations
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+years of experience in key account management, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong understanding of automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and procurement cycle
