Key Account Manager
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our strategic sales team.
This role is focused on managing, retaining, and significantly expanding our relationships with a select portfolio of the companys most valuable and strategic clients.
You will act as the single point of contact and the internal advocate for your accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, driving solution adoption, and achieving aggressive revenue growth targets through deep relationship building and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-year Key Account Plans detailing client organizational structure, strategic initiatives, executive stakeholders, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
- Revenue Expansion: Drive revenue growth within the assigned portfolio by identifying, developing, and closing cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for new products, services, and solutions.
- Forecasting: Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline hygiene, and account intelligence within the CRM system.
- Profitability: Monitor account profitability and ensure pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) align with company financial objectives.
- Executive Partnership: Cultivate strong, trusted, and long-lasting relationships with key executive stakeholders (C-level, VP-level) within the client's organization.
- Single Point of Contact (SPOC): Act as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams (e.g., product, support, operations, finance), ensuring seamless communication and superior service delivery.
- Client Advocacy: Serve as the internal champion for the client, ensuring their feedback, requirements, and service needs are prioritized and addressed by relevant departments.
- Business Reviews: Lead regular, structured Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to showcase achieved value, align on future objectives, and solidify the partnership.
- Solution Alignment: Work closely with the Product and Solutions teams to articulate client needs and tailor complex offerings that directly address the clients strategic business challenges.
- Contract Management: Manage contract renewals, negotiations, and expansion agreements, ensuring all commercial terms are favorable and clearly documented.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and manage potential client issues, satisfaction risks, and competitive threats to ensure high retention rates
