Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated, strategic, and results-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and expand relationships with our most strategic and high-value clients in the Bangalore region.

The KAM will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, driving significant revenue growth through up-selling and cross-selling, and aligning our products/services with the client's long-term business objectives.

This role is pivotal for sustaining long-term, profitable relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Planning & Execution:

- Develop and implement strategic annual and quarterly account plans for a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on retention, revenue growth, and market share expansion.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of client business, industry trends, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and potential risks.

- Drive the execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs), marketing initiatives, and product/service adoption campaigns.

Relationship Management & Advocacy:

- Establish and nurture deep, multi-level relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, functional heads, and technical contacts, to ensure a strong partnership foundation.

- Serve as the trusted advisor and central point of contact, ensuring a seamless client experience across all engagements.

- Act as a client advocate internally, coordinating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Support, Delivery) to ensure client needs and deliverables are met with high quality and on time.

Sales & Business Growth:

- Consistently achieve and exceed ambitious sales, revenue, and profitability targets from the assigned key accounts.

- Proactively identify and close opportunities for upselling and cross-selling the company's full suite of products/services by developing tailored, value-based solutions.

- Lead complex contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions to maximize mutual value and secure long-term contracts.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Monitor account performance using key metrics (e., revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction scores/NPS, adoption rate).

- Prepare and present regular progress reports, forecasts, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to both internal senior management and key client stakeholders.

- Manage CRM data meticulously to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Education and Experience:

- Mandatory: Full-time MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field.

- 5-6 years of experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Sales, or Enterprise B2B Business Development, preferably in a fast-paced environment in Bangalore.

- Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Core Skills:

- Exceptional Communication & Presentation: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.

- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and translate business intelligence into actionable strategies.

- Masterful Negotiation: Proven expertise in complex commercial negotiation and conflict resolution.

- Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead and motivate internal teams without direct reporting authority, and effectively influence client stakeholders.

- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business drivers, financial models, and the sales cycle in the relevant industry.

- Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software (e.Salesforce), MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
