We are seeking an Account Director for an award winning PR Agency.
Job Profile:
- Leads client account teams in the service delivery of all account activity as well as provides the strategic direction of the account.
- Responsible to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Take immediate action upon client feedback and help solve client problems.
- Formulate thoughtful points of view and recommendations based on broad communication and client landscape.
- Manages a client portfolio in the range of 50 lakhs plus.
- Drives identification and closure of farming opportunities within the portfolio.
- Plays a key role in business development brings in a minimum of 2-3 leads per quarter.
- Expertise on solutions and programs.
- Drives nominations within the team for major awards the organization decides to participate in.
- Ensures right staffing for clients and optimizing the team.
- Motivating teams to collaborate and achieve new heights in client servicing, creating delight for the client.
- Positive impact on attrition.
- Ensure proper delegation of work, conflict resolution and foster a healthy camaraderie.
- Actively reaches out to counterparts in other teams, verticals and locations to share best practices, feedback, support.
- Play the role of a talent ambassador for the organisation.
- Attracts talent and shares candidate recommendations with HR Ensure receivables management within agreed payment timelines.
- Manage client budgets effectively to ensure profitability margins are met as per targets.
Requirements:
- Hiring across multiple levels across Mumbai and Bangalore.
- 5 to 8 Years Account Managers with work experience in public relations or the communications industry.
- 8+ years Account Directors with work experience in public relations or the communications industry.
- Must have experience in the Consumer/ Consumer Tech/Mobility industry.
- Understanding of our solutions and programs and expertise in at least 4 programs .
- Understanding of online reputation management.
- Proven record in high client satisfaction and retention levels and track record in new business development.
- Capability of driving service quality, client retention and growth and developing the strategy/annual/quarter plan for the client portfolio under control; providing senior level counsel on media, crisis, messaging, etc.; developing strong professional relationships with the key client representatives and developing professional relationships with journalists, analysts and key influencers.
- Experience with mentoring, coaching and managing teams members.
- Ability to work under high pressure/ambiguous/complex situations and environment.
- Demonstration of accountability in all actions and behaviour.
- Gravitas and maturity in dealing with the team and client.
- Ability to preempt major client issues and address them.
- Collaboration and teamwork treating everyone with respect.
