Research Project Management & Delivery:


- Lead multiple consulting and research engagements end-to-end.

- Define project scope, methodology, timelines, and deliverables.


- Conduct hypothesis building, model creation, triangulation, and data validation.


- Run internal reviews, sanity checks, and improve narrative clarity.


- Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients.


- Maintain proactive client communication at all stages.


- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Client Engagement & Business Development:


- Lead pre-sales/post-sales discussions with clients.


- Create structured proposals, RFP responses, and government tender submissions.


- Present insights, intelligence decks, and solution frameworks to clients.


- Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

- Strengthen client relationships and drive repeat business.

Team Leadership & Development:


- Manage a team of Research Associates, Analysts, and Senior Analysts.


- Allocate work, review outputs, and guide research approaches.


- Mentor team members on frameworks, communication, and problem-solving.


- Conduct performance evaluations and support career development.

- Promote collaboration and high-performance culture.


Research Process Excellence & New Initiatives:


- Improve internal research frameworks, models, and SOPs.


- Build new processes for quality control, insight generation, and delivery excellence.


Contribute to innovation initiatives such as:


- Modernized data collection approaches

- Enhanced insight frameworks


- Streamlined research workflows


- Exposure to AI/automation tools is advantageous but not mandatory, including:


- Desk research acceleration tools


- Summarization/insight extraction tools


- Workflow optimization tools

- Maintain awareness of market trends and methodology best practices.

Hiring & Talent Acquisition Support:


- Participate in interviewing analysts and associates.


- Evaluate analytical rigor, communication, and cultural fit.


- Support team capacity planning aligned with business needs.


Qualifications & Skills RequiredEducation:


- Masters degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or related fields.


Experience:


- 3-6 years in Market Research, Consulting, Business Strategy, or Intelligence roles.


- Experience managing end-to-end research/consulting project cycles.

Technical & Research Skills:


- Strong understanding of primary & secondary research methodologies.


- Ability to interpret market data, identify patterns, and generate insights.


- Competence in building structured reports and intelligence decks.

- Exposure to analytics or automation tools is preferred but not essential.
