Export Manager - Biologicals


Job Overview:


The Export Manager is responsible for leading and expanding the company's international business for biological's - bio-pesticide, fertilizer, micronutrient, and PGR products.

This role involves export strategy, regulatory coordination, international registrations, key account management, and cross-functional leadership, ensuring compliant, profitable, and sustainable global growth.

The Export Manager will work closely with department Head looking at regulatory affairs, production, QA/QC, logistics, finance, and international partners to successfully position the company across multiple global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Strategy & Market Expansion:

- Develop and execute global export strategies for agrochemicals, bio-pesticides, fertilizers, micronutrients, and plant growth regulators and new molecules.

- Generate new leads and identify new international markets, distributors, and registration-driven opportunities.

Regulatory & Compliance Management:

Ensure full compliance with international agrochemical regulations, including:

- FAO / WHO specifications

- REACH, EPA, EU PPP regulations

- Local pesticide & fertilizer registration frameworks

Coordinate with regulatory teams and overseas consultants for:

- Product registrations

- Dossiers (technical, toxicological, efficacy, MSDS, COA, TDS)

- Ensure compliance with export control laws, customs, HS codes, and trade agreements.

Export Documentation & Trade Operations:

Preparation and accuracy of:

- Complete Shipment documents / Samples documents

- COO, BL/AWB, insurance, inspection certificates, MSDS, COA, batch records, etc.


- Ensure alignment with Incoterms, payment terms (LC, TT, DP, DA)

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination:

Manage end-to-end export logistics including:

- Freight forwarding (sea, air, road)

- Hazardous and non-hazardous cargo handling

International Client & Distributor Management:

Build long-term relationships with:

- Overseas distributors

- Importers

- Government tenders & institutional buyers

- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, MOQs, exclusivity, registrations cost sharing, and annual volumes.

Quality Assurance & Product Stewardship:

- Ensure exported products meet

Education:

- Master's degree (MBA / MSc Agriculture / International Business) preferred.

Experience:

5 to 6 + years of experience in export management within:

- Agrochemicals

- Bio-pesticides

- Fertilizers / micronutrients

- Crop protection or allied chemical industries

- Proven track record of developing international markets and managing registrations.
