Role: Big Data Architect  Location: Hyderabad  The position creates the new footprint for data-driven innovation and value for our customers and prospects while proving Big Data analytical capabilities. You would be part of a core team that would help design and develop advanced analytic solutions across functional areas as per client requirement/opportunities.   Requirements and Competencies   - Minimum 6 years of managing RDBMS database (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc- ).  - Minimum 3 plus years hands-on experience working with:  - Hadoop - MapReduce, HDFS, HBase, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Flume, MongoDB and Cassandra.  - Scala and Spark. Hortonworks / Cloudera / MapR and Clustering  - ETL tools (Talend/Pentaho preferred)  - Java, Python Development.  - UNIX/Shell Scripting & SQL.  - Network Monitoring Daemons like Ganglia and Service monitoring tools  - Experienced with Data lakes and Data Warehouse environment. Good design and architectural skills and proficient in Hadoop Administration - including cluster planning, managing Hadoop clusters and in data movement.  - Experienced in designing big data solutions for traditional enterprise businesses, handling data engineering related analytics query, dashboarding/visualization techniques.  - Knowledge of network monitoring daemons like Ganglia and service monitoring tools  - Experience in design, configuring and managing backup and disaster recovery for Hadoop data. Hands-on in analyzing Log files for Hadoop and ecosystem services to for root cause analysis.  Position Description: The ideal resources would be required to carry out the following:  - Extensive data processing  - Writing Hive SQL, Pig Scripts, Python Scripts, SQL queries, HBase Queries, Scala scripts  - Propose Big-Data solutions.  - Java/python programming.  The ideal resource would need to be a good team player, with good communication skills and capable of working in tight timelines. He/she needs to coordinate project plans across teams, monitor and report on the progress of the project to all stakeholders.
