To manage sales in the assigned territory to achieve defined sales and market share targets by promoting and selling KARL STORZ products to clinicians & surgeons across the healthcare value chain and maintaining and strengthening relationships with customers and other internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for Achieving Sales Figures in Assigned Territory month on month.
- Responsible for achieving focus product targets - both quantity and value - month on month.
- Ensure coverage of all accounts based on customer segmentation within territory through grassroots sales techniques like scheduling appointments, drop-by to potential customers, making initial presentations, understanding account requirements & needs of potential customers.
- To close sales/leads by building rapport with potential account by explaining surgical techniques, features and benefits of our product range.
- To maintain and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in coordination with marketing team.
- Responsible for preparation of quotations, negotiations on price, delivery and specifications.
- To maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities.
- Responsible for handling customer issues through cross-functional coordination (service, finance, operations, logistics) to achieve absolute customer delight.
- To participate in various congresses, seminars, workshops and close follow-up on leads generated through these events.
- To support in tender management.
- Close coordination with distributor network for target achievements, pre/post sales activities, logistics support and payment collection.
- Ensuring Accounts Receivable as per company policies.
- To develop sound product knowledge and continuously work on updating it.
- Track KARL STORZs market-share in the assigned territory for assigned product line and keep track of competition activities to proactively to ensure market leadership in the territory.
- Responsible for branding of KARL STORZ as an organization including top of the mind recall for KARL STORZ products among the target customers.
- Adheres to KARL STORZs code of conduct, policies & procedures and conducts all business in an ethical manner.
Your Talent
Qualifications
- Any Graduate, preferably with a science background (B.Sc., B Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, Bio-Med Engineers, etc.)b) Work Experience
- 5-6 years of experience in sales. Prior experience in medical device companies is preferred.
- Experience in channel management and distribution will be an added advantage.
