About Karban:
Karban is transforming indoor-climate appliances (air purifiers, smart fans, consumer appliances) with design-led engineering, premium branding and D2C + marketplace distribution. We seek a growth leader who understands how to scale online channels, drive brand performance and accelerate profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end online growth: marketplaces (e.g., Amazon India), Meta platforms (Facebook/Instagram), and Karbans D2C site.
- Define and execute the growth roadmap: channel mix, customer acquisition, retention, funnel optimisation, LTV / CAC ratio.
- Manage & optimize performance marketing budgets (30-50 lakhs/month), set ROI/ROAS targets, track KPIs and scale channels.
- Lead creative & media strategy: ad creative test & learn, landing page optimisation, AB testing, audience segmentation.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Brand & Engineering teams to ensure product-market fit, platform readiness and seamless customer experience.
- Build dashboards, analyse data (sales, marketing, attribution), produce actionable insights and steer growth decisions.
- Drive D2C growth for a hardware/consumer-electronics brand: understand purchase cycles, upgrade/repeat behaviour, subscription models if applicable.
- Mentor and lead a small performance marketing team or agency partners; establish scalable processes & tooling.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience in e-commerce growth/performance marketing roles, ideally in D2C companies or consumer-brands that scaled digitally.
- Proven track record of hitting high-growth targets (e.g., achieving ~2 crore MRR or equivalent) with significant ad spend validation.
- Deep expertise in Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads (Search/Display), Amazon Advertising, marketplace strategy and D2C website optimisation.
- Strong analytical mindset: comfortable with funnel metrics, cohort analysis, ROAS/CAC/LTV modelling and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills: able to align across Product, Brand, Engineering, and finance.
- Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms, Google Analytics (or equivalent), ad-tech stacks and dashboards.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable in a high-growth environment, thrives on scaling, experimentation and rapid iteration.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience working in consumer-electronics / appliance / hardware brands.
- Familiarity with subscription or upgrade purchase models.
- Experience with brand-building + performance marketing mix (not just pure acquisition).
- Understanding of Indian market dynamics (tier-1/2 cities, OTT/rapid-commerce platforms) and marketplace economics.
