Sales Officer

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated marketer with an analytical bent of mind to join us as part of theKapiva D2C Business Team. This team is primarily responsible for driving sales and customerengagement on www.kapiva.in. This channel has grown 2x in revenue over the last 8-10 monthsand is poised to grow another 4x over the next 12 months. It represents a high-growth, criticalpart of Kapiva's overall e-commerce growth strategy. The CRM Lead will support the business head in driving revenue through retention marketing,email marketing, push/ SMS marketing, and other similar initiatives. They will be required tomanage, execute, measure, and optimize campaigns on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities: - Work with the D2C team and help develop overall retention marketing strategy as required - Create and manage a daily calendar for all marketing communication scheduled - Ideate and develop communication strategy and flows for different segments, user journey etc - Drive planning for testing and optimization of key metrics across the marketing funnel - Manage the marketing automation tool and ensure emails, SMSes, push notifications are sent to the correct customers as per planned timelines - Work closely with the content, design, and marketing teams to ensure timelines are met and\ quality standards maintained. Ensure adherence to plan and calendar schedules - Review and provide feedback on all content / design, ensuring quality standards are met. - Manage day-to-day setup and execution of all campaigns on the marketing automation platform - Setup campaigns as per plans to drive customer retention - Work closely with third party agency/ platform POCs to resolve issues and derive more valuefrom the platforms - Keep up with the trends and incorporate best practices into our communication strategy Measurement and reporting: - Drive data-driven insights on overall campaign performance - Measure, test and optimize various campaign attributes to improve upon key marketing metrics - Analyze campaign performance on a regular basis and identify key levers for growth and improvement. Conduct granular level analysis to understand what's working and what is notworking - Benchmark KPIs with industry standards and take initiatives to improve in lacking areas - Setup regular reports that can be shared with the management Requirement: - 2-4 years of experience in a marketing automation/ CRM role, preferably retention marketing. - A direct-to-customer start-up experience is a plus - Hands-on experience with setting up and scaling email/ push / SMS campaigns and similar retention marketing initiatives - Deep understanding of customer segmentations, retention cohorts, communication strategy for various segments. Ability to generate value from cohorts of these existing customers - Hands-on experience on one or more marketing automation tools like Moengage, Webengage, Clevertap, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Sendgrid, Wigzo, Push Owl etc. - Strong data analysis skills, excellent with numbers; ability to work with data and use judgmentto build hypothesis and run data-driven decisions - Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment across cross-functional teams; good atcoordinating with different departments and managing timelines - Exceptional organization and planning skills - Exceptional English written/verbal communication - willing to write email content if needed
