Kama Ayurveda - Demand Planner

This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of our luxury brand's demand planning process. You will collaborate with various departments to forecast demand accurately, optimize inventory, and support the growth of our product lines. This position requires a deep understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the collation of forecasts from key stakeholders and finalize the forecast in discussion with the Sales & Planning

- Provide the finalized unconstrained demand for the monthly S&OP meetings.

- Assess and report the forecast accuracy for each business unit.

- Work with Sales & Planning team to improve demand forecast accuracy.

- Contribute to various New Product Development projects.

- Support Demand & Supply Planner, Demand allocation planner and Planning head with analytics

- Publish the monthly Planning MIS - OTIF/Freshness/FG SLOB/B2C Leadtime reduction.

- Refresh the inventory norms (FG, RM) periodically along with the respective planner.

- SPOC for sales teams to inform the availability of stock.

- Ensure correct allocation and movements of stocks from 3Ps to warehouses as per sales forecasts.

Qualification:

- B.Tech.

- 3+ years' experience in a demand planning/supply planning role(s).

- Good understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.

- Proficiency in MS-Excel

- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in working on ERPs (SAP/APO etc)
