Role Description:

- The Business Head for Defence will lead the strategy, development, and operations of KALA Group's Defence division.

- This full-time, hybrid role is based in Pune, with the flexibility to work in factory and in Corporate office on occasion.

- Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, overseeing project execution, and ensuring compliance with defence regulations.

- The role also involves managing cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

- You will work closely with leadership to achieve revenue and growth objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Strong experience in Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Project Management specific to the Defence or Aerospace sector.

- In-depth knowledge of Defence Systems, Military Technologies, and relevant compliance and regulatory standards.

- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management capabilities.

- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and fostering partnerships in the defence industry.

- Educational background in Engineering, Defence Studies, or a relevant field; advanced degrees such as MBA/management qualification are a plus.

- Proven track record of achieving targets and delivering successful defence-related projects is advantageous.
