Role:
- Drive SMB/MSME sales of engineering software (CAE & Multiphysics simulation) including Ansys Mechanical, Fluent, HFSS, Discovery, OptiSlang. Own territory, acquire new logos, expand accounts, and deliver predictable revenue with support from Application Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute territory & pipeline plans; generate leads via events, outbound, and partners.
- Manage full sales cycle: discovery proposal negotiation closure for new licenses, renewals, expansions.
- Land-and-expand accounts; cross-sell software, training, and services.
- Maintain CRM accuracy, forecasts, and track competitor moves.
- Collaborate with Ansys channel, marketing, and Customer Success teams.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 yrs B2B engineering software sales (CAE/CAD/PLM/simulation), with quota achievement.
- Understanding of at least one simulation domain (FEA/CFD/EMI/Optics).
- Strong sales, CRM, and negotiation skills; willing to travel.
