Through our Solar Business Vertical, we aim to build India's first organized ecosystem for collection, segregation, and reprocessing of solar modules and components as well as supply critical solar components & ancillaries to module manufacturers & EPC's, enabling sustainable reuse of valuable engineering materials.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and network-driven Business Development professional to lead our growth in the Solar vertical. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with suppliers, module manufacturers, EPC companies & solar raw material companies and will be responsible for building partnerships, driving revenue, and establishing a sustainable ecosystem for solar recycling and reuse.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop partnerships with Solar PV module manufacturers to sell products like Junction boxes, Solar PV ribbons, EVA sheets, solar glass, Aluminum frames.

- Also collect scrap solar wafers, cells and other waste to be recycled from these module manufacturers.

- Develop business opportunities with solar module manufacturers, EPCs, and recyclers to expand sourcing and recycling networks.

- Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and supplier identification across the solar manufacturing ecosystem.

- Collaborate with internal teams (sourcing, operations, and strategy) to align supply and recycling initiatives.

- Manage the complete business development cycle - lead generation, negotiation, closure, and account servicing.

- Build and maintain strategic long-term relationships with solar industry stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

- 5-10 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within, Solar raw material supply, Solar PV module manufacturing, or Solar EPC / Renewable energy equipment sales.

- Strong understanding of solar supply chains and PV manufacturing components.

- Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.

- B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical / Electrical / Renewable Energy / Chemical) or equivalent; MBA preferred.
