About the job:
HEAD - MANUFACTURING
1. Purpose
Achieve organizational objectives by:
- Responsible for overseeing the companys day-to-day operations across engineering, manufacturing, and Logistics, warehouse functions
- Driving strategic initiatives to optimize operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and support sustainable growth.
2. Role Description:
- Operations Management: Lead end-to-end operations including production, quality, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and maintenance.
- Strategy & Business Growth: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute business strategies aligned with long-term goals, expansion, operational scalability in line with market trends
- Performance Management: Monitor operational KPIs, budgets, and financial performance of business units
- Financial Management: Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen practices to improve efficiency, cost optimization, waste reduction, and profitability improvement.
- People Leadership: Implement effective workforce planning, training, and succession planning to foster a culture of accountability, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Quality, Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO/TS, IATF 16949, OHSAS, and other industry quality & safety standards
- Technology & Innovation: Spearhead digital transformation, Industry/Market adoption, and automation
- Research & Development: Encourage R&D collaboration for new product development and process improvements
3. Authority
- Review and implement course correction as required in the plant processes
- Financial powers as per delegation of power
- Stop, correct and restart process in case of non-conformities
Requirements:
- MBA/Diploma / BE / B Tech with minimum 20 years experience preferably in Engineering Industry.
- Details of certification courses/trainings
- TPM / JIT / Lean / Six Sigma / ISO14001 / OHSAS18001 - knowledge and awareness
