
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to spearhead the development and enhancement of our site. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our search engine's presence on web browsers, ensuring optimal performance, user engagement, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and business development to define and execute the product roadmap.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify user needs, market trends, and competitive landscape pertaining to browser-based search experiences.
- Define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive the development of site functionalities aimed at improving user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and enhancements.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze user feedback, and iterate on product features to continuously enhance the browsing experience.
- Champion a user-centric approach to product development, leveraging data-driven insights and user feedback to inform decision-making processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on browser technology, staying abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in browser-based search experiences.
Requirements:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3-4 years of experience in product management roles, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing consumer-facing products.
- Experience working on browser platforms, with a deep understanding of web technologies, browser architectures, and user behaviors across different browsers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify actionable insights, and make data-driven product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence cross functional teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, identify opportunities for innovation, and drive product initiatives from concept to launch.
- Prior experience in search engine technology or related domains is a plus.
- Location: Bangalore, India. Must be willing to work onsite.
