About the Role:

We are looking for a high - calibre Chartered Accountant to join JustAct as a Finance Manager and take ownership of key aspects of our Finance & Accounts function. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified CA or a CA with up to 2 years of experience who wants to move beyond traditional accounting and audit into a high - ownership, business - facing finance role within a fast - growing Legal - Tech company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of accounting and taxation, and the ability to independently manage finance processes while working closely with the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own day - to - day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls.

- Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, bank reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and ensure timely preparation of financial statements.

- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other applicable statutory and regulatory compliances.

- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.

- Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial dashboards, variance analysis, and other management reports.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash - flow planning, and financial modelling for business decision - making.

- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, and overall financial health of the business.

- Establish and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, SOPs, and financial governance as the company scales.

- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, cost optimization, and greater financial efficiency.

- Provide financial insights to the leadership team and support strategic business decisions.

- Maintain accurate and complete financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory

- Candidate must have cleared the CA examination in the 1st or 2nd attempt

- 0 - 2 years of post - qualification experience

- Candidates who have recently qualified as CA are encouraged to apply

- Prior experience in Big 4, leading audit firms, consulting firms, startups, SaaS, technology, or high - growth companies will be an added advantage
