At Jupiter, the design team continuously creates and clarifies product strategy , reduces complexity and inspires teams to have a User First approach. The Design Team continuously Cross collaborates with Product and Other Key Business Teams and work on a shared vision of empowering people on financial wellness and making the experience delightful. We are a team of full stack Product Designers , UX Designers , Illustrators with a strong product thinking mindset and have come together to reimagine the whole banking experience of the end customer and help people own their relationship with money. Overview Of the Role : . At Jupiter , design has been the forefront of the app experience and it will continue to define the product and determine the interaction which users have with us on a continuous basis. We believe that Design leaders are storytellers and they have an uncanny ability to stitch different storylines and bring them all under one roof maintaining uniform rhythm and consistency to bring world class banking experience to the end customer i.e exactly the way orchestrator who brings the Symphony alive They set pretty high standards for themselves and for the design culture within the org . They are evaluative of different perspectives of the future of design and design trends from the perspective of Jupiter. They are a coach , mentor and master of Core UX Skills . They are great communicators, are an educator of our design principles , ardent speakers and face of design at various industry events. Your Roles & Responsibilities : You Set-up the Design Culture and drive People , Processes and Design Systems by bringing in the best of industry practices and Promote Design effectiveness within the organisation . You establish Vision , Mission and OKRs for the Design Team in consensus with the Product & Org OKRs and lead all the cross product & cross team initiatives in the organisation , Influencing product roadmaps with ruthless focus on driving multiple releases with continuous focuses on emerging products. You are Effective Negotiator and Confident Subject Matter Expert who knows when to get support and when to push back effectively and professionally, (this calls for proven experience and knowledge to counter with logic and data driven approach) You will be managing , growing , retaining a high performing team of talented product designers. And Coach other team members to maintain positive attitude and navigate challenging situations You continuously look out for new design trends in the industry and Drive key strategic changes that will benefit all customers. You will be responsible to partner with stakeholders and help drive the product agenda from a user experience point of view; proactively anticipating issues before they arise, resulting in smoother, higher quality product development You Manage multiple products; tackling highly complex or undefined projects, with autonomy; appropriately validating assumptions with management; seeks opportunities to start new initiatives. -You Mentor , coach other designers; drives strategic vision and high-level design thinking both inside and outside the design team Must Have Skills - You must have overall 10 - 14 Yrs with a minimum of 4 Yrs of leading , managing Design teams, working with founders/founding teams in an early stage tech startups will be handy. - Have proven experience in Performing design reviews on and approving others' work on projects. Does special projects and difficult assignments. On the lookout for new initiatives, making them happen. In your past experiences, you should have been Championing Product Design within your teams and other key stakeholders across the floor and bring design in the forefront along with Product & Core Tech. - You have Demonstrated Humility in both giving and receiving feedback from all sources and relayed feedback to the team effectively; coach others on how to give and receive feedback with a strong empathy quotient. - You should have experience of building strong cordial relationships and have the ability to influence founders , key stakeholders to get your things done which will benefit overall organisational goals. - You must participate in enrichment activities in small and large group settings ,support others in leading such activities; break down walls between UX and other orgs. - Graduation in any field should be fine. But having a degree from a premier institute will be good to see. - Lastly , it will be great to sese passion towards financial instruments and curiosity in the fintech space.
