The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing project scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional coordination, and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera or MS Project
- Coordinate with project teams to align timelines, deliverables, and dependencies
- Monitor progress and proactively identify risks or delays
- Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership review
- Lead planning meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment
- Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and client requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA is preferred
- 7+ years of experience in project planning or scheduling
- Proficiency in planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus
