Please find here by the Job Description for your kind persual;  Job Description;  (Research) Analyst, Economics Research  Location: Gurgaon   Experience required : 0.7 years to 2.5 years  Overview of the role:   The role offers wide spectrum of activities and ample learning opportunities across the economics space. The primary responsibility of a research analyst is to help consultant solve their problems through the use of fact based qualitative and quantitative research. Initially, you are expected to gain appreciation of the full spectrum of work and over time get more aligned to one of the topics/ analytics. In particular:   - As a new Research Analyst, you will work with consultants to articulate, scope, and prioritize their research/ analytics needs. With guidance from more senior colleagues, you will determine the most appropriate, cost- effective, and timely research/ analytics solutions to meet the team's needs .  - You have the opportunity to broaden your exposure across the full range of capability areas within the team such as Macroeconomics and Modeling, International Trade and Investment, Industry analytics, Economic development and Urbanization among others .  - You are expected to play a role in the area of economic modeling and analytics. This includes understanding the spectrum of work that has been done by the team and applying it in client studies by leveraging your own experience and based on guidance from senior members of the team .  - You will be exposed to the relevant experts as well as trainings during the course of your tenure to help develop both technical and soft skills   Skills and Qualifications:   - Clear understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic theory   - Six to twelve months of experience in a relevant field including experience with econometric including related statistical tools and basic topics such as regressions an time series modeling   - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, keen to work in a data-intensive environment   - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English .  - Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions  Education background:  - Masters degree in Economics/Statistics or equivalents from a Tier 1 Institutes.  Interested candidates can reach me out on the following;  Phone : 09310339888
