Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end financial closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles by collaborating with business units to align financial targets with organizational growth objectives.
- Manage internal and external audit engagements, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure seamless documentation and resolution of audit observations.
- Implement and monitor internal control frameworks to mitigate financial risks and ensure adherence to corporate governance policies.
- Analyze monthly financial performance against budgets to identify variances and provide actionable recommendations to senior management for cost optimization.
- Ensure 100% compliance with statutory filings and tax regulations to protect the organization from financial and legal exposure.
Required Skillset:
- Possess a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, specifically gained within a Big 4 firm or a large listed company environment.
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in financial reporting, audit procedures, and the application of accounting standards.
- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, strategic narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of professional skepticism and attention to detail, essential for maintaining rigorous compliance and control environments.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, fostering collaborative relationships with internal teams and external auditors.
- Adapt seamlessly to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Mumbai, managing multiple high-priority deadlines with precision and composure.
