- You will be the strategic navigator in a sea of complex regulations, steering Junglees public policy through the intricacies of Indias federal and state landscapes. Youll be our voice in public policy circles, advocating for policies that not only protect but also propel our business forward. Youll work directly with the CEO and CRLO and closely collaborate with various senior leaders, crafting strategies that influence the regulatory environment and drive our industrys evolution.

What Were Looking For:

Experience & Expertise:

- A seasoned professional with 20+ years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, and government relations, including 10 years in a leadership position.

- A proven track record in regulated industries, with a strong preference for experience in online gaming, consumer internet, fintech, or e-commerce.

- Hands-on experience in policy advocacy and lobbying, particularly with the political class and ministries such as MeitY, MHA, MIB, Ministry of Sports, MoF, Income Tax, GST etc.

Educational Background:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.

- Additional qualifications in journalism or experience in content-driven roles are a plus.

What Youll Do:

Be the Voice:

- Lead the charge in developing and defining Junglees stance on key policy issues that matter to the gaming industry.

- Be our advocate with central and state governments, industry bodies, and industry stakeholders, ensuring our voice is heard loud and clear.

- Represent Junglee in regulatory organizations, industry associations - shaping the rules that govern the gaming landscape.

Craft the Narrative:

- Develop compelling, data-driven narratives that influence policy and regulatory decisions.

- Build and nurture relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry influencers to advance our agenda.

- Act as the liaison between Junglee and various government bodies, ensuring we operate with the highest ethical and responsible gaming standards.

Collaborate and Strategise Internally:

- Work closely with our legal, compliance, finance, and tax teams to ensure were not just compliant but leading the way in regulatory best practices.

- Provide strategic counsel to the executive team, helping them anticipate and navigate regulatory changes, and shape the business and product strategies to stay ahead of the business curve.

Stay Ahead of the Curve:

- Monitor and create repositories of the pulse of legislative and regulatory developments, from parliamentary debates to state legislature discussions, and those that are not found on Google alerts or Twitter feeds.

- Have ears on the ground. Analyze emerging trends and translate them into actionable strategies that keep Junglee ahead of the curve.

- Act as the liaison between Junglee and various government bodies, ensuring we operate with the highest ethical standards.
